Sammi Gale is a poet, curator and strategist working across contemporary art and culture.

His work spans editorial, journalism, exhibition-making, and strategy for cultural organisations, creative businesses and the built environment.

He has been Editor of Plinth since 2019, where he continues to work across editorial, project consultancy and marketing strategy. He is also a Special Advisor to the Grimshaw Foundation, for whom he established a communications strategy in 2021.

His curatorial and editorial work has involved artists and organisations including Magnum Photos, Sid Motion Gallery and Ed Cross Gallery, and he has interviewed artists including Rose Wylie, Fiona Banner and Andra Ursuta.

His journalism has appeared in GQ, the i Paper, Little White Lies and elsewhere. His poetry and short stories have appeared in publications including Datableed, The Toe Rag, Prototype and Lighthouse. He collaborates with Jack Bartrop as Fffirst Time, writes Letters from Godot, and is the author of the poetry pamphlet Port Folio, published by Broken Sleep Books.

He is available for strategy, marketing and communications, editorial and curatorial projects.
